# atan¶

mipylib.numeric.minum.atan(x)

Trigonometric inverse tangent, element-wise.

The inverse of tan, so that if y = tan(x) then x = atan(y).

Parameters

x – (array_like) Input values, atan is applied to each element of x.

Returns

(array_like) Out has the same shape as x. Its real part is in [-pi/2, pi/2] .

Examples:

>>> atan([0, 1])
array([0.0, 0.7853982])
